Chiesetta di San Donato
The first mention of this little chapel, hidden in a dense chestnut forest, dates to 1294. Its architecture preserves Romanesque features, especially in the semicircular apse, while the surviving fragments of what was likely a full interior fresco cycle reveal a cross-border Gothic taste (particularly Slovenian), softened by Friulian pictorial models, popular in spirit yet refined.
Special mention goes to the Resurrection on the back wall, accompanied by phrases in Gothic script.
