The Cammino is a circular route of 184 km, divided into 10 stages, crossing 9 municipalities: Cividale, Prepotto, San Pietro al Natisone, Pulfero, Savogna, San Leonardo, Stregna, Grimacco, and Drenchia. It features a main track of 121.5 km, complemented by 9 variant tracks totaling 62.5 km. Stages 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 10 include variants. The length, elevation gain and loss, and difficulty of each stage are detailed on their respective pages.
For the development of the Path, the working group of Pro Loco Nediške Doline – Valli del Natisone APS was inspired by the books of Tarcisio Venuti “Chiesette votive da San Pietro a Prepotto” and Giuseppe Marchetti “Le Chiesette votive del Friuli”. It is recommended to download the GPX track to your device.

How to get to the starting point
By Car
From the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway (Udine Sud exit) via the SS54 road (Udine – Cividale or exiting at the Palmanova tollbooth – directions to Cividale).
For those coming from the north via the A23 Tarvisio – Udine motorway, the exit is Udine Nord and then the SS54 road (Udine – Cividale).
By Train
From Udine train station, you can reach Cividale by the Udine-Cividale railcar. More information and updated schedules at www.ferrovieudinecividale.it
By bus
Cividale is well connected and easily reachable by line buses or coaches from all major cities in Friuli. All useful information on the website tplfvg.it/it and at www.aptgorizia.it
In By plane
You can reach Cividale by landing at Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari Airport. From there, proceed to Udine by train or coach service and from Udine to Cividale by your preferred means.
