We descend to the village of Jellina and its characteristic Kosolec, monuments of rural architecture. After crossing Vartaca (Vartacia) and Cepletischis, we reach Polava, home to its welcoming Buddhist Center. From here, CAI trails 746 and 761 lead us to the summit of Monte San Martino. Continuing along CAI 761, we descend the long ridge between the Alberone Valley and the Cosizza Valley until reaching the villages of Clastra and Scrutto.

How to get to the starting point
The starting point of the fifth stage of the Path can be reached by private means (car, bicycle, or on foot), or by using the TPL FVG regional bus service departing from Cividale.
