Chiesetta di San Mattia Apostolo
Romanesque church from the 14th century, later reworked between the 15th and 18th centuries. Recent excavations uncovered a small bronze of Hercules (3rd/2nd century BC) and a denarius from 174 BC. Unfortunately, the original 16th‑century wooden altar has been lost; only three statues that adorned the new masonry altar remain, now kept elsewhere. Even so, the simple, dim nave retains a humble spiritual charm, as does the lovely natural setting on a hilltop surrounded by chestnut trees.
